Miltskade: Prognose

Prognosen for miltskaden er god både med og uten operasjon. Totalprognosen avhenger av øvrige skader. En person som har fått fjernet milten, bør vaksineres mot pneumokokker, Hemophilus influenzae og meningokokker.
