Tøyningsøvelser med kraft, teori: Prinsippene

  • Passive tøyningsøvelser kombinert med aktiv muskelkontraksjon ("resistance training") i utstrekte posisjoner av muskulaturen 
  • Øvelsene kombinerer styrke, tøyning, utholdenhet, balanse og stabilisering i en funksjonell krevende posisjon basert på kroppens myofascielle linjer
  • Involverer flere samhørende muskelgrupper. Jo flere muskelgrupper som deltar i en funksjonell bevegelseskjede, og jo større bevegelsesutslag (ROM), jo bedre vil treningen være
  • For å oppnå maksimal stabilitet, er det også viktig å trene den antagonistiske muskelkjeden fra en strekt posisjon
  • Øvelsene er spesifikke for ulike funksjonelle bevegelsesmønstre: Problematiske og innskrenkede bevegelsesmønstre identifiseres og behandles
