Alkoholmisbruk, symptomsjekk: Tidlige symptomer og tegn

  • Når alkoholikere konfronteres med at de har et alkoholproblem, vil de som regel benekte at de har slike problem.
  • Alkoholisme er en mangeartet sykdom og påvirkes ofte av alkoholikerens personlighet så vel som andre faktorer. Derfor vil symptomer og tegn gjerne variere fra person til person. Det er dog visse atferdstrekk og tegn som tyder på at en person har et alkoholproblem.
  • Eksempler på slike trekk er angst, irritabilitet, søvnvansker, hyppige fall, mange blåflekker, kronisk depresjon, fravær fra arbeid eller skole, tap av jobb, skilsmisse eller separasjon, økonomiske problemer, hyppig beruselse, vekttap, ulykker, skader og bilkollisjoner.
