Autoimmunt polyglandulært syndrom: Symptomer

Symptomer på binyrebarksvikt er uspesifikke og felles med mange andre tilstander, og de kan variere i de tidlige stadier av sykdommen. Trøtthet er nærmest obligatorisk ved binyrebarksvikt. Med tiden kan trøttheten tilta og føre til kronisk utmattelse som krever sengeleie. Ledsagende endringer som økt pigmentering av hud, særlig i hudfoldene eller på slimhinnen i munnhulen, og hvite flekker på huden (vitiligo) kan også forekomme. Lyshudete personer synes å ha en brunfarge som ikke avblekes når solsesongen er over.
