Lateksallergi: Forebyggende behandling

Småbarn som må gjennomgå mange operasjoner, bør behandles med lateksfrie produkter - det vil si at kirurgene og operasjonssykepleierne bør bruke lateksfrie hansker.

Blant helsearbeidere er det vist at å erstatte pudrete latekshansker med lateksfrie hansker, kan forhindre utvikling av lateksallergi.
