Besvimelse hos barn og unge, veiviser: Hva kan dere gjøre selv?

  • Hvis du føler at du vil besvime:
    • Legg deg ned eller sitt ned
    • Plasser hodet mellom knærne
  • Hvis et barn eller en ungdom har besvimt:
    • Legg personen på ryggen med beina hevet over hjertenivå
    • Følg med at vedkommende puster fritt. Bevisstløse kan kaste opp
    • Legg øret ditt over personens munn for å høre etter om vedkommende puster. Dersom personen ikke puster, er problemet alvorligere enn en besvimelse. Start med hjerte-lunge-redning (barn/voksen) og tilkall akutt medisinsk hjelp. Ring 113
    • Hvis personen puster, gjenopprett blodstrømmen til hjernen ved å heve personens bein over nivået til hodet. Løsne på belter, krave eller andre klesplagg som hemmer pustingen. Personen bør komme seg raskt. Hvis vedkommende ikke kommer til bevissthet innen 1-2 minutter, ring 113 eller tilkall akutt medisinsk hjelp
