Hepatorenalt syndrom: Symptomer

Symptomene ved hepatorenalt syndrom skyldes både lever- og nyresvikt. Typisk ses ved leversvikt blant annet gulsott, blodlevringsforstyrrelser, væske i bukhulen (ascites), utvidede blodårenøster i huden, og eventuelt endret bevissthet. Ved nyresvikt er det vanlig med uttalt slapphet, kvalme, tretthet, redusert vannlating, hevelser i bena, og tung pust.
