Føflekkreft (malignt melanom): Screening?

Innhold i artikkelen

Noen personer har økt risiko for utvikling av føflekkreft og bør henvises til oppfølging:

  • Ved store medfødte føflekker (over 20 centimeter beregnet voksen størrelse)
  • Ved mange uregelmessige føflekker
  • Ved opphopning av føflekkreft i familien. I slike tilfeller kan en henvisning til avdeling for medisinsk genetikk være aktuelt

Helkroppsfotografier ("mole mapping") kan være nyttig for å følge utviklingen av føflekker. Dette gjelder særlig de med svært mange føflekker, ved uregelmessige føflekker, føflekkreft i nær familie eller kombinasjoner av disse.
