Venetrombose i øyet: Prognose

Etter hvert vil den tette venen kunne åpne seg noe. Deler av synstapet kan gradvis bedres, men de fleste vil oppleve permanent synssvekkelse på dette øyet.

Komplikasjoner til venetrombose er blødning i øyet, som gir ytterligere svekkelse av synet, og utvikling av grønn stær.
