Symptomer på arbeidsrelatert astma

Arbeidsrelatert astma arter seg med de samme symptomene som andre former for astma, blant annet med hosting, tungpusthet og piping i brystet. Et typisk trekk er imidlertid at plagene er verst når du er på jobb, mens du er mindre plaget når du er hjemme, spesielt i helger og ferier.

Ofte begynner astmaplagene med rennende nese og/eller nesetetthet, som kan oppstå i opptil ett år før du får symptomer på astma.

Mange personer med arbeidsrelatert astma utvikler også andre former for allergi, for eksempel utslett og eksem i huden.
