Økt eller nedsatt svette
Dersom du svetter unormalt mye eller lite, kan det en sjelden gang skyldes sykdom eller noe annet galt i kroppen, men den vanligste forklaringen er naturlige variasjoner i kroppstemperatur.

Svette og kroppslukt
Svetting er en naturlig prosess og er en mekanisme som kroppen bruker til å opprettholde mest mulig stabil temperatur. I situasjoner hvor kroppstemperaturen går opp, skal altså svettingen øke. Men også i stressede situasjoner vil du kunne merke at svettingen øker - dette er også en naturlig funksjon, om dog uønsket.

Lukt av svette er også et velkjent fenomen, se bare på salget av deodoranter og antiperspiranter! Svette er i utgangspunktet luktløs, men når den kommer i kontakt med bakterier som finnes på huden til oss alle, skapes uønsket lukt.
