Akne, årsaker, risikofaktorer: Disponerende faktorer

Hormonendringer i kroppen din kan utløse eller forverre akne. Slike forandringer er vanlige hos:

  • Tenåringer, både gutter og jenter.
  • Kvinner og jenter, to til syv dager før menstruasjonsperioden.
  • Gravide kvinner.
  • Stressede mennesker.
  • Personer som bruker visse medikamenter, for eksempel kortison.

Andre risikofaktorer inkluderer:

  • Å utsette huden direkte for fete eller oljeaktige stoffer, eller for visse typer kosmetikk
  • At flere i familien plages med eller har vært plaget med akne. Dersom foreldrene dine hadde akne, er det økt sjanse for at du også får akne.
  • Gnissing og trykk mot huden fra for eksempel stramme klær, krage eller ryggsekk.
