Allergisk sjokk (anafylaksi): Personer i risiko

Personer som tidligere har opplevd anafylaktisk sjokk, er mest utsatt for å få det på ny. Personer med kjent allergi er disponert, men når det gjelder reaksjon på vepsestikk, er dette like vanlig hos ikke-allergiske personer. Pasienter som bruker såkalte betablokkere (blant andre Metoprolol, Selo-Zok, Seloken, Sotacor), kan utvikle mer alvorlige anfall hvor behandlingen ikke er så effektiv som vanlig.
