Søvnløshet

Søvnløshet er når man har problemer med å sovne, problemer med å opprettholde søvnen, eller har problem med for tidlig oppvåkning. Går mangelen på søvn ut over funksjonen på dagtid lider man av sykelig søvnmangel - insomni.

Søvnløs
Omtrent hver tredje person opplever søvnen som utilfredsstillende.

Hva mener vi med søvnløshet?

I medisinsk sammenheng sier man at en søvnforstyrrelse som har vært en plage i minst en måned, er en sykdom. Med søvnforstyrrelse mener man enten:

  2. Problemer med å opprettholde søvn, eller
  3. Opplevelse av ikke å være uthvilt etter søvn
