Prevensjon, ulike prevensjonsmetoder: Støtteordning for kvinner 16-22 år

Støtteordningen gir gratis prevensjon, eller prevensjon til redusert pris, for kvinner i aldersgruppen 16-21 år.
Ordningen med bidragsdekning til prevensjonsmidler gjelder fra måneden etter at kvinnen fyller 16 år og til og med måneden før kvinnen fyller 22 år.
Ordningen gjelder p-piller, p-plaster, p-sprøyte, p-ring, p-stav, hormonspiral og kobberspiral.
I aldersgruppen 16-19 år skal alle midlene være gratis. I aldersgruppen 20-22 år gis 123 kroner i rabatt per tre måneders bruk, inntil 492 kroner per år (2021) - se tabell med eksempler.

Tallene i tabellen bygger på prislister fra mai 2020 og er omtrentlige tall. Noen p-piller koster mer enn 480 kroner per år, kvinner som er 20 år eller eldre må da betale mellomlegget selv.
Ved kjøp av spiral eller p-stav er virketid 3 eller 5 år, innkjøpspris reduseres med hhv 480 kroner for kvinner 21 år og 960 kr for kvinner 22 år
Spiral og p-stav må settes inn hos lege. Konsultasjon hos lege må betales, men selve prevensjonsmiddelet er gratis eller subsidiert, avhengig av alder
