Du bør fortelle legen din:
- Hvem du lever sammen med.
- Hvem du er avhengig av eller som er avhengig av deg i hjemmet, sosialt, vedrørende forsikring og medisinske behov.
- Hvem du ønsker skal ta medisinske beslutninger for deg hvis du ikke kan ta dem selv.
- Hvilket juridisk forhold som er mellom deg og din partner, barn, far til dine barn eller sæddonor.
- Hva som ville skje med deg og dine kjære hvis du ble separert fra din partner, mistet jobben, flyttet, fikk alvorlige medisinske problemer, ble ufør, pensjonert eller døde.
- Om du har sex (oralt, analt eller vaginalt) med menn, kvinner eller begge.
- Hvor mange seksualpartnere du har hatt.
- Om du behøver prevensjonskontroller.
- Om du behøver informasjon som beskytter deg mot seksuelt overført sykdom.
- Om du har problemer på grunn av din seksuelle legning - som jobbdiskriminering, familieproblemer, depresjonsfølelse.
- Om du har opplevd vold i hjemmet eller vært utsatt for kriminalitet.
