Pyoderma gangrenosum: Diagnosen

Diagnosen stilles på grunnlag av sykehistorien og de typiske hudforandringene. Det er likevel viktig å utrede tilstanden med blodprøver, vevsprøver og bildediagnostikk for å utelukke annen sykdom. Ved mistanke om diagnosen bør pasienten henvises raskt til hudlege slik at eventuell behandling kan startes opp så tidlig som mulig.
