  • Et brukket kragebein (clavicula) skyldes vanligvis en indirekte kraft, for eksempel et fall på utstrakt arm
  • Dette overfører kraften langs den skadedes underarm og overarm til kragebeinet
  • Årsaken kan også være et direkte slag
  • Kragebeinsskader forekommer ofte hos yngre personer som et resultat av idrettsaktiviteter
